Loch Stock 2012 is underway!

On 11^th-13^th May Loch Lomond Wakeboard played host to the 1^st event on the Loch Stock 2012 calendar, and what a way to kick off the tour! Saturday saw sunshine in abundance for the assembled crowd to chill out at the Red Bull wigwam. The boys from Shaka Events and Sunday Circus provided beats throughout the day and into the night, culminating in a proper Loch Stock afterparty down at the new LLW clubhouse.

Kent James made the trip up to provide pro coaching for all levels behind the exquisite Nautique 210, as well as showing us how to use a yo-yo properly (and we mean properly)!

The ball is already rolling for the first of the competition stops on 22^nd-24^th June, and this time there is a twist: Loch Stock stop 1 is an official Wakestock qualifying round, meaning one male and one female will earn themselves an entry to the legendary festival! If you’re not competing there will be some serious riding to watch, along with the usual pro coaching and epic party!

Coaching weekend in less than 10days!!

Less than two weeks to go now till the 2012 Loch Stock season kicks off! The Loch Lomond coaching weekend gets things rolling on 11^th to 13^th May (not long now!); the event is chilled, informal and perfect for getting rid of those winter cobwebs! As if that wasn’t enough on its own, we’ve thrown in Kent James to offer expert coaching behind this year’s epic Nautique Super Air 210; what more could you ask for!

Of course it wouldn’t be Loch Stock without some live DJs to get the party going, and this year Red Bull will be stopping by to keep the energy levels high on and off the water!

2012 Tour Dates Announced

And here we have it folks. It’s time to get those diaries out and start making excuses to cancel any prior engagements! This years tour dates are -

Stop 1 (Wakestock Qualifier)	22nd-24th June	Loch Lomond
Stop 2	3rd-5th August	Lochearnhead
Stop 3	24th-26th August	Foxlake

We’ve got 2 big changes to shout about this year. Firstly, stop 1 is a Wakestock qualifier, so Loch Stock will be sending 1 guy and 1 girl to ride at Wakestock this summer. Secondly, we will be hosting our very first cable stop at Scotland’s premier System 2.0 at Foxlake Adventures. Mixing these stops in with a coaching weekend featuring the (almost) world famous Jack Hammersley, and a mid-tour stop at the beautiful Lochearnhead, means 2012 is going to go off like never before. Watch this space for more info on how to enter and details of our end of season bash in the not too distant future.

End of season party this weekend!

Well this is it, the final Loch Stock event of 2011… and it’s this weekend! Robin Coates is already at Loch Lomond on coaching duties getting warmed up for the weekend, and the DJs are busy getting ready to make this a party to send off the season in style!

We’ll be seeing out the summer in epic fashion with 2 packed days of wakeboarding behind 3 Nautiques, and of course the legendary Loch Stock Saturday night event will be putting everyone’s stamina to the test. Stereo Vandals, Phrase, Joe McAuley and DJ Hesitant will be dropping tunes well into the night at the stunning Loch Lomond wakeboard at Rowardennen… this will be a weekend to remember. Don’t forget, this will also be the last stop to buy the PURPLE 2011 merchandise!
