On 7^th and 8^th August Loch Stock comes full circle and hits Sallochy Bay on the world famous shores of Loch Lomond to conclude what has been a mind blowing Scottish tour.

Keeping the standards progressing there are pro coaching sets available all day Saturday, with an army of pro coaches to help you get your final comp run ready – Book now as sets sell out fast!  To add to what promises to be an awesome weekend, Loch Stock and Loch Lomond Wakeboard have teamed up with the LWC to bring you a rail jam on Saturday- the jam will take place in the LLWB winch park, with at least one new slider making its debut at the event. Open to all riders (subject to conditions) – more details to come. Yet another banging Saturday night LS party will lead us into Sunday, when it’s time to decide who takes home the Loch Stock title!

As always Loch Stock is family friendly day and night, and is a guaranteed great weekend whether you’re riding or not so get your transport organised now! On 17^th July 2010 history was made at Loch Earn as Loch Stock officially became the first Scottish wakeboard festival! After a busy but chilled day of riding on Saturday under the expert supervision of David O’Caoimh the Loch Stock tent came to life as Blitz hit the stage to warm up the crowd. Headliners The Raw Kings kept things going as darkness fell and the tent filled, and by the end of their set the party was in full swing. Battlemode DJ’s took to the stage to round off the evening and by the end of the night it was standing room only, with the structural integrity of the tent being put to the test!

Amazingly after the carnage of the night before, almost every rider made it to the 10am briefing ready to kick off an intense day of competition. As usual the standard of riding was pushed all day long with all the usual big hitters going huge for the judges- as testament to David’s coaching skills, Craig Davies stomped (and  I mean stomped) his first ever scarecrow in his comp run after some invaluable advice the day before. In the ladies division the boundaries were being pushed just as hard as Sammi Filsell stole the top stop from Becky Hall with a convincing run. Suzy Lennox also took her 2^nd Podium in as many stops, leaving her with a bronze medal to defend at Loch Lomond- let battle commence ladies!

As always Loch Stock would not have been possible without the amazing people that make it happen, not least the tour sponsors. Mastercraft Boats and Ardlui Retreat kept the wake pumping all weekend for the queue of Relentless fuelled competitors. Meanwhile Fox Clothing, Loch Lomond Wakeboard, Xtreme Gene and Oak Tree in all made sure no one left the podium empty handed by stumping up some sick prizes for the for the top riders. Amazing Days Events and Bonnington Lane Studios teamed up to put together one hell of a party, and of course without this stunning venue the event would not have been the same; Neil and his team at the newly managed Lochearnhead Watersports Centre definitely deserve a big thanks.

The Scottish tour got underway this weekend at the stunning waterside Loch View Motel in Dumfrieshire. Two days of constant sunshine provided wetsuitless riding, with pro coaching on Saturday from Liquid Force shredder and all round nice guy Kurt Graham.

Sunday saw sore heads all round following yet another epic Loch Stock party with some riders struggling to find their game face! Fortunately the organisers and boat crew were on their game and ensured the awesome Mastercraft X2 (with graphics that wouldn’t look out of place on an AC/DC album) left the dock on time all day long.

The day ended with a sun drenched and packed out prizegiving with prizes from Phitt Clothing, Kezvegas Headwear, and of course a weekend’s wakeboarding at Xtreme Gene in Spain. The standard of riding just in this first event was through the roof compared to this time last year, and this season looks set for big things!

Every Stop sees new friends join the Loch Stock community from new riders joining the party to new sponsors showing their support- next tour stop Loch Stock will be welcoming Fox Clothing aboard. They’ll be providing some top prizes and their splendid products are now available in Mayles Watersports in Balloch.
